Any London pinball fans here?
I always get excited when I see pinball in a movie and try and catch which one it is.
I read an article years ago there is a pinball hall up in north London somewhere
I will do some research
must go there!
when I lived in Germany in the 1990s our local pub had pinball
that’s what got me into it
It’s been 30 years but Germany was very clean and efficient
it’s too long ago to say I miss it
but I’d certainly live in Germany
again
Well germans are nice people. A lot of people are leaving uk at the moment. But is the grass greener though. There's pros and cons to everything.
Yes lot of people leaving
there are also a group called the Patriotic millionaires who love their country and want to help effect change rather than leaving
I think I’m going to go up to Russell Square there is a pinball arcade up there
shoot me some pinball
It's a great cause . I've seen a few of Gary Stevenson's podcast. Do they actually do anything though. Some talk a lot ,no actions. For those who move away though, surely you can't take the culture here with you . It's not always a good thing to flee suddenly when it gets tough.
Well they’ve been imploring the government to let them pay more tax
they actively want to help the country
my idea for a solution is an optional extra tax for those who want and can pay into
And the ungrateful train drivers have gone on strike again. They get 74k and stilll complain. They've lost their minds.
AI drivers are already on standby 🤣🤣🤣
Oh yes that’s true
AI certainly may take over
but there nothing like a pair or eyes and instinct- sometimes tube drivers have to get out and check out suspicious behaviour etc
they’re security as well as drivers so AI may not come after all
I've seen the new AI robot who communicate between themselves and are more intelligent than most Humans. It's a little worrying. One tech guy has an AI girlfriend and he's been with her for over a year. There will be nothing like humans as much as they try. Nothing like a simple hug 🫂
