My friend David has completed a course on being a London tour guide and I went on one of his walks at the weekend
we were lucky with the weather and he is very knowledgable
We learned a lot and went places we’d never would have known existed with him
we started and Moorgate and ended up in Bank
I always wonder what a tourist sees when they visit London as we are used to seeing everything around us. Do they like what they see as we know other countries are way more developed and London doesn't really like change.
Yes I wonder that too
we are lucky in London with the amount of old buildings preserved despite being bombed in WWII
compared to some other European cities we do have a lot of new buildings and London is always changing
I enjoy it when I go to a new area of London or one I don’t visit much and seeing what it looks like
